I also posted this in the Lowe Forum,,,,thought I would try here to.
Anyone have one mounted, for a week I've been beating my brain what kind, where to mount, tips on mounting, 3 or 4 step folding,,,,,this for the wife & I if we ever fall out plus my 16 YO Granddaughter to be able to swim & get back in the boat. Basspro has a 4 step folding that hard mounts I think with hardware. I just need some advice / pictures if anyone has one mounted...

Re: Lowe FM165 Swim Ladder

Hopefully the Lowe guys can help with location but you're probably in a fairly good location where you've listed. Only concern is the steering cables/rod, etc within the splashwell and whether it'll interfere and also whether or not you'll have a place to step once you're up on the top of the ladder. I like the universal one you've posted. It'll allow you to bolt through with some mounting brackets/plates on the back to reinforce it.

One piece of advice I can offer, is that with the height of the transom, etc I highly recommend whatever ladder you choose, get the 4 step ladder.

The further it is in the water, the easier for you and your wife to get in/out of the water.
