I have a 1981 75hp Evinrude,Fuel is leaking from the bottom of the power head on the intake side it appears to be leaking from the lower Crank Shaft seal area. I pulled the lower unit off a couple of weeks ago to replace the impeller, is it possible that I damaged the Lower Crank Shaft seal when I removed or replaced the lower unit. The lower unit separated from the top end without any problems and the same is true when I put it back on to the top end. I need some advice before pulling the power head to get to the lower crank shaft seal.

Shouldn't be enough fuel in there to leak. Check your recirculation valves. Their job is to pull liquid fuel out of the intake area of the crankcase and re-route it to the cylindres.
And no, you didn't damage the seal with the lower unit work.
