Lower cylinder # 6 foulng plug

I have a 1996 Envirude Oceanpro which is fouling the # 6 plug after each use. All other plugs are really burning good. It's a wet foul of oil/sludge that actually bridges the spark gap on ocassions. Compression is 110 psi on all cylinders. I checked the ignition coil resistance at ambient temperature and it was the same as the other 5 ignition coils. Spark plug wire resistance was good as well. Could the carburator be supplying to much fuel? Please let me know what to check next. Thanks

what horse power? have you tried completely swapping the #6 coil, with one of the others. if the problem follows the coil, you know the culpret.

Could be a mis-adjusted float flooding the carb, but that should effect #5 and #6. How's 5?

I don't know a lot about the 6's but does #6 provide the pulse to the fuel pump? If so, you could have a leaky fuel pump diaphragm.

150hp. I swapped the number 3&4 coil to the number 5&6 to see if the problem follows the coil. Thanks for the suggestion. # 5 is really good, no problem there. I not certain if #6 provides puls or not but I'll research. Thanks.

If the sludge has a little greyish look to it, pull head and replace cylinder
o-ring. These engines will still have great compression and run fine on top end and be missing a third of the o ring.
