1987 johnson 175hp. What weight and brand of gear oil recommend for lower unit?! Thanks

do you know how to fill hydrolic fluid on a panther model 135 trim and tilt? It won't trim up.

An outboard gear oil such as Quicksilver. Normally 80W-90 but for engines over 75 hp Quicksilver recommend their High Performance Gear Lube which is SAE 90

IIRC The high performance oil should not be mixed with the ordinary, " Premium" gear oil

On a big bore high perf engine, why not run the best, Bombardier HPF Pro. No need to go cheap on an expensive gearcase like that. It only takes one quart...
