Hi All I'm rebuilding a 1998 Mercury 90HP ELPTO 2T Cant remember the order of the lower mount bolt/washer/yoke/nut assembley. And I'm a bit concerned I'm missing something. I've attached some pics. I think the main question is where should the washer go, as the location of the washer affects the parallel of the mid to steering bracket. Also in the service manual in one of the diagram it shows two washers to the fore of the lower mount 'e' and 'f' on the diagram. Yet the exploded diagram doesn't show these??? Definitely seems to be a discrepancy in the diagrams? Should the mid be parallel to the steering bracket? Even if I put the washer behind the nut its not parallel. My other fear is it changes the angle of the gear selector shaft, seems to sit close against the edge of the hollow, and not in the centre. Any help much appreciated! thanks
