Where the lower unit bolts are there is some oil coming out in the middle. It is winterized and has not been run since last season. The oil isn't dripping it's just remnants. I've noticed it before but the motor ran great last season. Is this normal? When i changed the oil it looked fine.

Hi sam1

If it is dripping from leg drain holes it is probably just unburned wintherizing oil leaving your motor. I could also be unburnes twostroke oil, unburned from running low rpm, or cold condition. Thats normal. If it was gearlube you would could smell it if you touch it wiht your finger. It can drip for a day after a short run. If it drips now without you had it running, id´check some more.

It dosen't drip at all it's like a oil residue in the middle of the split between the lower and upper unit.
