Hi Aquastar
My last name isn't Damnit, but I will try and help. I read your other post. The fellows gave you some very good and honest advice. The big problem here is you are frustrated. We tend to get this way because of ignorance. Ignorance fortunately does not have to be terminal. If you truely want this problem repaired you need to quit behaving like a 5 yr old and get yourself a manual and the proper test equiptment and get to work. There is no way we can repair any problem here for you,all that can be done is advise. We can't even make you heed the advice.

Re: lower unit again

Alcan is not a person you want as an enemy here. He has helped lots of people on this forum. YOu may want to swallow your pride and do what people told you to do on your other post. Your lower unit needs to be resealed. A seal kit is about 30 bucks and takes a few hours to do. A mechanic will do a pressure test and find out what seal is the problem. None of us do this for a living so if you are going to ask advise you should at least take it.

G'Day ALCAN.. Long time no sea... ;)
Aquastar.. As the good Commander said, the only real method of Gearcase test is referred to in the manual and involves using low pressure and a gauge. This will pinpoint whether it is seals or washers or other.
