Hello gang,

Kind of a silly question maybe, but, I typically change my lower unit gear oil once a year. I see it as cheap insurance.

Any thoughts?? Am I changing it too frequently. I don't put a tremendous amount of run time on my engine, so it does sit idle at times.

Just thinking.

thats just fine. checks if your getting water in it. part of winterizing, co it won't freeze if water in it, looks like you don't need to worry about that
