Dwight,<br /><br />Why not just go with the Evinrude/Bombardier lower unit lube available from any dealer? Difference in price between it and a "generic" brand for a once a year oil change is only going to be a few bucks. I'd go with the lube I'm 100% sure is appropriate for my motor. <br /><br />My 2 cents.<br /><br />Oh and by the way, typing in capital letters is considered "YELLING". Isn't too bad to read when it is only a sentence, but if your next post is any longer, go with lower case. No offense intended... just some friendly advice.<br /><br />Cheers,<br /><br />Brew

Hey 1dwight I use Hi-Vis by BRP. It costs me 7.95 a quart at the dealership. I believe that your model will require the same.

hpf gear oil is also acceptable (better quality)

I usually use Mobil 1 synthetic, it's expensive but I know it's good protection, and doesn't mix with water as easy as conventional gear oil, supposedly.
