Could somebody please tell me the trick to getting the shift linkage lined up to put the lower unit back on a 1993 70hp Evinrude?<br /><br />I pulled the pin and shoved the rod in about a 1/2 inch to get it out, and it came off without a problem.<br /><br />Now I need to know which way the shift linkage is supposed to turned to get it back in. <br /><br />Thanks
