My 1997 8 HP Johnson runs fine but after storing for a couple of months I noticed oil leaking from the lower unit as shown in the pictures. I don't think it's lower unit oil.
Looks to be unburned fuel and oil; it wont hurt anything but a gasket is letting go; mine has streaks up further on the leg and has done it for several years; motor runs fine.
