lower unit lube

Hey anyone have a question. I have a quart of OMC lower unit lube that I havent used since upgrading to my Force.. Will this stuff be compatible with the Force lower unit or do I need to get the Force lube.. Thanks..<br /><br />Terry

The OMC lower unit lube is just fine as long as it's not the "Type C" for electric shift motors.

Just make sure you drain the old stuff out then add the new. <br />Drowned Rat I did not know that the electric shift had a different oil.

Actually it's for hydro-electric shift models, but I think the bottle says for electric shift lower units.
