I didn't have a lot of time to search through the many threads on here for my answer.
I have a 1992 Mercruiser 4.3L with an Alpha One/Gen.2 outdrive.
I just purchased a transom seal kit with Bellows, gaskets, O-rings and gimbol bearing at Ebasic Power for $129. I also purchased a new impeller and would like to change the lower unit oil.
What is the amount I would need?
One or two quarts? or more?
I have a friend that is a retired mechanic that owns several boats and will be helping me with this, I haven't talked with him about the foot oil yet.
