there's the difference. That's from using the motor 4days in the water and ran about 2hrs a day. I don't see water on top of the oil it's just a creamy looking color. Maybe it's supposed too look like that I don't know. I would think it should still look new after that short of a time. It drained slow too but it went down to minus 2 Celsius last night. So then water should of came out before oil right? It just ran out slow. I thought maybe some water came out of the top screw when I took it out. Could of just been me tho. So is that what the oil should look like after 4 days? I no you no what your talking about so whatever you can tell me is appreciated.??----Water sinks in oil.
Ok I will see what I can findPut oil in a glass jar.----Let it sit for a week.-----How many ounces of oil drained out ?----An exact number.
Ok so I guess that no water is getting in then or there would be more right? Why such a difference in color? It a 2000 25hp 3cylinder Johnson long shaft by the way.Should be about 11 ounces.
How do I pressure test? If you don't mind.It is so simple to pressure test these gearcases..-----So easy to make a pressure test device.----Had an Air Canada pilot here a while ago.-----Was making his own test device.----Nothing to it.
