Lower unit removal 60hp johnson

Have tried to remove the lower unit of my 1992 60hp johnson to replace the water pump. have removed all bolts and disconected the shift rod . have shook, twisted, pulled and stood on the unit itsself with no results. could someone please tell me a trick to remove the unit. all help welcomed.

Are you sure you have all the bolts, I believe you have 7 total

dont forget the bolt under the trim tab, makes 6 bolts total i believe.

Thanks for your replies--Been having problems with my compu. couldnt get back to the forum---have removed all the bolts as stated above and continued to twist and pull.--Talked to a "outboard mechanic" he told me to insert wedges on each side and tap them to bring the unit down--This doesn't sound like a good thing to do to me--afraid of breaking the housing--Has anyone done that with success--still opened to any suggestions

pull the spark plugs, then turn flywheel, could be drive shaft is rusted into crank shaft. there should be an O ring on the top end of the drive shaft, is not replaced last time water can get there an cause rust.
