lower unit stand

I built this to hold my lower unit. Very easy and low cost. I used a treated 2x8, 3 lags 2 galvanized eyes and 2 carbunckles. Bottom piece is 18 inches long with a groove cut into it for the skeg and back piece is 16 inches with a notch cut out the length to hold unit. You need to take a couple of measurments for your unit. I added the hooks to help hold lower unit on stand. Cost 10 dollars time saved priceless.

Very nice! The front section will allow a flat support if you rotate the unit. Very nice idea!

Hmmmmmm. The next time I have to work on a lower unit I'm copying that idea. Thanks for posting it.
