Do I have to replace my Lower unit? Is there any way I can fix that?<br />Thank you

Re: Lower unit stock in gear

Most likely this is something inside the lower unit. OMC/Bombardier use what is called a "yoke and cradle" shift design. These can break and when they go they will stay in whatever gear they were in when it broke. I would have a mechanic take a look at it if you have already checked all the linkeages and shift cables. I doubt you need a new lower unit. Just some parts. Good Luck
