Will a lower unit from a 18 hp Johnson fit a 20-25 hp Johnson? I want to put it on a 1068-70 model year. I really don't know what year the 18 hp is, but it does look the same.
Best way to know Bearcamp....pull both and set them side by side. Make sure drive shaft splines are the same and bolt hole patterns are the same. Don't know about gear ratios. The lower units in 70' were the same.
