Is there anyway to vacuum or pressure test one?To ensure that it is sealed and wont let water in.

Sure.
You can find a fitting at the hardware store that will screw into either the drain or vent hole. Then an adaptor that will accept an air pump, the hand pump type for a bicycle.

You only want 4-5 psi so as not to blow out the seals.
