Lower units parts source?

I'm looking for a used lower unit for a 1987 30 hp yamaha short shaft<br />model # 30SH<br /> <br />I can't justify spending more on a new lower unit than I paid for the motor, so my hunt for a used one begins. <br /><br />Does anyone know where to get one?<br />Thanks,<br />Kevin<br />birdup@gmail.com

Not sure where you are and not sure if he ships but local to me here in SW Florida is a marine salvage warehouse with literally hundreds of, if not thousands of, outboards in various forms. <br /><br />Superior Marine Salvage, Inc. Man at this point I would just take a housing and use a extra set of gears I already have,<br /><br />JRJ,<br />I couldn't find one listed, and unless you know something I don't, they want the same amount a complete motor would cost for one of their lower units.<br /><br />Does anyone else have any suggestions or know of any local shops. I'll call anyone.
