Lowrance 332 or 337

I'm planning on buying one of these FF/GPS units. My question is is there a program like a blue chart that will give more detail of the Canadian shoreline of the western basin of Lake Erie. The chart that comes standard with either unit does not offer much detail of this area. thanks Bill Mc

Lowrance units can use Navionics map cards or Nautipath map card from Lowrance. <br /><br />The Nautipath card is $99 and is suppose to include all coastal us waters, hawaii, and the great lakes. However, it is brand new and I hear that they have some errors in some areas.<br /><br />The Navionics maps are closer to $200, but are well proven and highly regarded.

Before you buy go to there site and check what they have. Better yet go to your dealer and have them put the card in where you can see the details before you dicide to buy unit.
