Lowrance 337c gps/fishfinder combo DF

Lastweekend while out on my boat my gps was working fine. <br /><br />today when i get to the dock and i power up the unit it turns on and everything looks good except after about a minute a popup appears saying that the" GPS module is not responding ".<br /><br />does anyone know what this means?

May be a poor/dirty connection?.. Un-plug the antenna wire (all wires for that matter) at the unit and make sure its connections are clean and making good contact..<br /><br />Here's a link to the manual in pdf.. http://www.lowrance.com/Manuals/Files/LMS-337CDF_0156-071_121704.pdf

somthing went bad ......i have the 335 and i baught it new ,,,it did that out of the box,,i told them at west a marine and they said it must be me ,,im not testing it right etc......bs ....i sent it in to lawrance and they tested and repaired about 4 things ,,,new gps antenna ,new cables ,,terminator etc ,,,,now it works great

I am not sure if the same as the 335 cdf but you must have a seperate 12v supply to the aerial otherwise this will also generate this message. <br />The manual is a bit confusing I found.<br />Check the fuse to aerial supply anyhow.<br /><br />Andy

actualy they replaced 4 things not repaired them ,,,,

I have a similar problem with mine. I spoke with Lowrance and they said it might be that updates are needed or that my radar zapped the module. After researching a bit more other things might be wrong as well.
