lowrance global nav

I have been looking to purchase a gps for my new boat and came across a lowrance global nav 310 for $75 bucks I have a fish finder so all i need is gps for when i take it out in the ocean. I want something simple and does not have to have all the bells and whistles I know this is an older model but seems to be a fair price . Has anyone owned one of these and know if its worth buying all i need is something to get me back to the boat dock and also can tell me how fast I am going thanks for the help.
