Lowrance Hds-5x Transducers

I have been thinking of replaceing my Sonar with a Lowrance Hds-5x and have noticed that you can either get one with a 50/200 or 83/200 transducer. I will be fishing mostly in water under 100' and was wondering if there is a advantage of one over the other? Thanks

The 50/200 khz transducer is for deeper water and saltwater.
For water under 150 feet I would get the 200/83 KHZ transducer.
It will meet your needs and is cheaper.

Later if you want more you can add the structure scan as well but it is not Cheap.
