Lowrance LCX28c HD and a Pinpoint-1 Antenna compatability?

I was given a Lowrance unit w/o a GPS antenna; I have been searching for the original LCG3000 antenna which, I have been told is non existent. Will the Pinpoint-1 antenna link up with this old unit and what is the correct NMEA2000 kit to put this all together?..............thanks in advance!

I have recently been informed that my unit will only accept a LGC3000-or-4000 antenna.

Well, I guess the locals were wrong about my older unit; I just installed a Point-1 antenna, utilizing a NMEA 2000 kit. It works! I have a few more questions to ask but will start a new thread.
