I have two new mark 4 i am mounting on my boat. I bought an upgraded transducer for one of them and wanted to get some input on weather i should put the better one on my trolling motor or on the back of the boat.

If I read your post correctly..You have 2 units..What does Up Graded transducer mean. I have a Elite 4 Chirp DI/GPS unit just wondering. I would put the so-called best transducer on the transom and the regular transducer on the bow mount.

There is 3 differant transducers for this model. The one that came with it and 2 more that you can buy separately. The 2 better one does what the one that comes with it does but also some things it cant. It brings up more features.
