Does anyone use Lucas in their Marine Engine?
not me.....
Does it work?,
no verifiable evidence
ditto
ditto
make any difference?
ditto

It does suck money out of your wallet though! That's very GOOD for the people that sell it!!

If you buy it you can contribute to their "stimulus"!!

If you use it, it should make you feel better.....

It must be the "placebo" effect that some people like......

Re: Lucas Oil Stabalizer

My cousin put lucas in his truck every oil change and at 120k miles his valve stem seals were rock hard and crumbled in his hands. He started burning massive amounts of oil and discovered this problem. I'm thinking it was the lucas that did it.

It could have been the 120k miles of hard running and thinking the Lucas snake oil is a substitute for judicious maintenance and oil changes...

just a thought.

You will get a different answer from everyone that reads your question. Use a good brand oil and you won't need any additives because a good oil has everything in it that you need.

Well, thanks for the information. I think I'll stick with a good brand motor oil, stick with the recomended from Merc. and go from there. Thanks all!
