hi i am new here, iwas looking to get a 29 foot boat the make is lucat aft cab it has two diesel volvo pentas 135 turbo ,it is 1988 700 hours on the boat, the guy has not used the boat in three years ,cant find any info on the lucat boats checking out diesel power cheaper than gas powered thanks for any info

the guy wants12.000 for the boat, he said the camper top is rotten water ran inside ruined the seat across the stearn what would you think it is worth goe to check on the engines and out drives

Most will suggest to get it checked out by a certified mechanic. a 1988 with water damage? clearly screames for a second opinion.
$12,000. Let the buyer beware!!

A boat survey will be the best money you will spend, the seller may even split the cost if you ask.
