I just purchased a 2011 Lund 1675 with a Terrrova 50# thrust and a 60'' shaft it seems too long, anybody know the correct size? They offer 44, 54 and 60 inches. I use it for bass and walleye.

I have just bought the same boat and have a 55# Terrova with a 54" shaft. Seems to work fine. What motor did you put on your boat and at about 30mph do you notice a bit of a droning noise or vibration. No big deal but did notice it. Everything works well with the boat except that that the split windshield gap isnt straight so when you close it the trim touches at the top.

Yeah, 60" is too long for that boat. Granted, you can adjust it upwards, but the part sticking up would be enough to dry your laundry.

You might be able to get by with the 44" model, but it would be best to do some measurements first. In the driveway, maybe you could lower your main motor down and measure how far the prop is from the ground, then deploy (lower) your trolling motor and mark that measurement on the shaft. From there you should be able to tell how much excess shaft there is and decide which of the other two lengths would be best. Just an idea.

I know this is a bit off topic but how does your gas guage work? After using a 1/4 tank mine goes from full to empty. Dealer sayes they cant calibrate it and would have to change the guage.

I have a Rebel 1625 XL SS and the short shaft Terrova. A 48 or 52 shaft (which ever one it is) works great for me for the last 3 years.............no problems with the head all the way down which is the way I wanted it. BTW, the fuel guage is almost worthless. The tank is too shallow and the guage just doesn't work properly. Other than that, I wouldn't sell it back for what I paid for it. Enjoy!

The above is my quote. For some reason I was thinking of a different boat than the Impact. Sorry.

We have a 60" Minn-Kota on our boat, but its bow depth is 42 1/4 inches. I just looked up the specs on the 1675 Impact, and its bow depth appears to be 38 1/2 inches, so not quite a 4 inch difference in the boats.

The 54" Minn-Kota, as mentioned by Gasman1, would probably be just the ticket, but you might be happy with the 60" model you already have, especially on days when the lake is choppy. The extra length will help keep the prop in the water at all times, even when there's a good wind. Just a thought.
