I called my dealer Tony Key at Perth Marine in Troutman, NC and told him that one of my seats in my 2008 Lund I bought new from him 3 and 1/2 years ago had a broken hinge and would not fold up or down properly. It was one of the hard bottom hidden hinge models. Believe it or not within an hour or so he had emailed Lund and had a response that my warranty had run out but they have had some issues with these type seats and they were going to replace it at no charge:D. I think this kind of customer service is not very common place in this world and I definitely think it needs to be told. Kudos to Lund and Perth Marine. When you are thinking of a new Lund (or used) give Tony a call. You can't beat the service from him and Lund in my opinion!:D

That's a great story. Thanks.

And my vote goes to R&R Marine in Shakopee, MN (suburb of the Twin Cities). I picked up a new '08 Lund Fisherman from them in May of '08, used it without problem for two seasons, and then noticed something mid-season of the third year. Looking at the boat on the trailer straight on from the front the waterline on the port side was higher than that on the starboard side. The lines met together at the bow okay, but were up to 2 1/2 inches different amidship. Looked goofy. The good folks at R&R Marine said I could finish out the fishing season and they arranged with Lund to have it shipped back to the factory last November where it was repainted and returned to R&R Marine in March. Looked goofy before; looks great now.

Doesn't get much better than this............does it? A great boat company and a good dealer organization!
