Hi,<br /><br />I have the Lund WC 14 which if you look at Lund boats in this size is probably one step below the SSV 14. It is identical (or almost identical)in weight, length,hull thickness, etc. The WC 14 has a max HP rating of 25, whereas the SSV 14 has a max HP rating of 35. I am running a Honda BF 20 on mine and it is a good match. You probably would be better off with at least a 25 on the SSV 14. Overall, I am very happy with my WC 14 and I would recommend it. It has proven to be reliable and seaworthy, although as with any 14 ft boat, it has limitations due to its size.
