Thank you for the help so far.
I found a set of points at NAPA, using the eyeball matchup method (P/N: CS2380).
They are not an exact match, but not far off.
The point cam is attached to the flywheel, and the points live under the flywheel, so setting the point gap is a challenge.
I found piston TDC using a dial indicator, and put aprotractor on the crankshaft.
In the absense of a manual or timing information, I set the points to break at 10deg. BTDC. If anyone has the timing spec for this, I would be grateful.
I have not test-fired the engine yet, but I have a crisp spark with thes spark tester set for 0.25".
My main issue now will be timing.
File or emory cloth the contact surfaces clean, silver solder build up to original new height, file flat, grease lube riser cam.............you will be good for another 5-10 years of use.
Done this with several NLA points and starter solenoid contacts..............Don
