It's computer day at my house . . .
The laptop arrived (good thing I was home,the delivery person just left it on the front step . . . thought I might need to sign for it ?
. . . I guess not !!! )
In addition, I got an older Dell laptop working to (hopefully) be my dedicated Diacom computer.

I'm using a Time Machine backup to transfer all of the data from the old Mac to the new Mac . . . I was able to get a couple of iterations of the backup this morning, rather than using a 3-week old backup.

Looks like it will take a while . . .

I got a hardshell case for the Dell/Diacom computer . . . my plan is to keep it on the boat for quick access 'when' (not if) there is a warning or fault.
