Yah man, you have the skillz, I think you should take a run at getting that tank in there.

Man, you think that outboard stand is strong enough? That's got to be the most overbuilt piece of anything I've ever seen! Very Nice!

I was wondering what is in the sprayer in post number 34? Your hull came out beautiful, and I have the same mess to clean up myself. I kind of figured that it was maximizer, but just wanted to check and see if there was something else in there. I have the same yellow residue on the sides of my 76 SS, from the factory vinyl.

Just for the record, I think they should have a boat rebuilding show on Discovery Channel. I am really enjoying seeing everyones work on here.

I see a whole lot dumber reality shows out there!

Well seems like the fuel tank is popular right now! I may have a plan, gonna do seat box lay out kinda like this

So what if I sunk the tank into the floor left to right between the front seats and had a step up in the floor from the back and two steps into the cabin?? I plan on carpeting the deck from seat box to cabin and paint on the deck in the back, that step would make a nice transition but would give a trip hazard in the heat of battle. What ya think???

Looks like MD lifted one of the hurdles from the Big Boy Olympic Games for the motor stand. Can you say stout!

What 850 said. Of course the host has to be an egotistical blowhard master boat builder covered in tats, lots of jewelery and strangely sculpted facial hair. Maybe throw in a father/son team so we can observe familial non-bliss and disharmony.

Jas - The show can have a segment called "Glasser Nirvana" where the host uses his heavy artillery to return donors to dust accompanied with plenty of loud explosions and fire.

Actually found that NAPA paint stripper in spray cans combined with a pressure washer worked great for the glue residue!

Then I suppose I'll be visiting NAPA on the way home from work tonight. Should make for a fun weekend! Thanks MD!

Autumn Hills south east of Zeeland, 10 minutes from work, charged it as a pickup load. 65.78$ gotta love the pennies involved:rolleyes: Not bad though, and it is gone:D

Just throwing this back out for opinions and ideas, be nice to use that tank I already have!

I love the cockpit. the layout is beautiful!! Sorry but seeing any boat at the dump leaves me a little depressed. You are doing some really nice work here. I look forward to finishing mine out!!

Great score on dauntless looks like you're getting your money's worth. :D

The prop should have the pitch or at least a part number under the nut and washer on the hub. I wouldn't get too concerned about it until you run it on the Islander.

I like you your gas tank idea. The two concerns I would have would be what it does to the opening size and operation of the cabin door if you'll have one. The 2nd being pickup placement causing it to suck air before it gets unreasonably low.
