Hey everyone, this is my first post so go easy on me!

I bought a 91 sunbird 190 w/a 1992 OMC Quietrider 115hp, V115SLEND last July (05), and as soon as I was handed the keys, I didn't bother to check anything, relied on dealer's word and ran that boat like crazy! Well now that I am a bit more educated, thanks to iboats, I want to pull some general maint. on the engine, I'm no mechanic, but I do change the oil on my truck. I'm starting with de-carbing the engine sometime this weekend, and change the L/U gear oil. But how hard will it be to change the impeller? Should this be something I try since this my first time working on an ob? Anything else that I should do as well, any help is greatly appreciated. Also a recommendation on a good manual would help, since the boat never came with one.
