Does anyone have any thoughts on what to use to clean and protect the upholstery in my Cobalt 240? I've used Babe's cleaner and it works great. Babe's also has very good reviews. However, when it comes to "protecting" the seats from UV etc., I've read all kinds of differing opinions....all the way from just using Babe's Seat Saver to using plain old Lemon Pledge. I thought I'd ask Cobalt owners because they may experience particular to the actual materials Cobalt uses in their interiors.. Also, does using a material that allows the vinyl to breath make sense...?

Moved this topic into the Boat Topics section to increase the chances of receiving advice..

While your Cobalt is special to you, the seat and upholstery materials are the same as used in other boats and cleaning suggestions are the same.

I agree on 303 Protectant. We're on our second Cobalt and have used it for years. Great stuff!

Spray Nine to clean, 303 Aerospace Protectant to protect. The West Marine Store I shop at was out of the other 303 products such as their version of vinyl cleaner. Cleaners don't usually impress me but the Spray Nine bought in the 303's stead was very effective and only ten bucks. Have also used McGuire's Vinyl and Rubber Protectant in place of 303 protectant.
