I'm on my computer at work, & it's quite old. For some reason I can't slide the screen over enough to close out that Chevy Truck ad that keeps poping up. What a pain in the A**. I'm trying to respond to a thread & it sucks. I know Bla Bla I'm just being a baby. I really need a new computer here. I'll just tell the boss I need a new unit because I can't access my boat forum. That should go over nicely OK, done *****'n

Just get a wide screen . Try hitting the restore down button, the one in the middle in the top right of the screen, that may bring the screen small enough that you can close the add. You may even try changing the screen resolution, that could bring it down some also.

Temporarily change your monitor resolution to something higher, and then you can access the X. Once you close that ad, it (supposedly) doesn't come back. Took about a week for it to go away for me.

If you run Firefox, activate pop up blocker then install ad blocker you will never see it..

It's just a very old junky computer at work. Everyone else in the office got new LCD screens but not the 2 salesmen.
