Rain rain rain... some more rain, then some rain following the rain. My boat is all gassed up, stocked up and shined up... ready to go. I could live with some rain but now it's bloody windy too. We drove down to the waterfront and there's about 4' seas.<br />Someone make it stop!<br />I yelled off the deck at the clouds, "Go to frickin' Texas, they need water not us!" The neighbors look at me funny when I do that.<br />I think I'm going crazy... help.

Magster, send some this way - we never recovered from the drought conditions from last year, and we have had less than 1/2 the rain/snow amount of last year! The ground is so dry and cracked! My grass is brown and dead. Yep, we need rain, as does Texas. So, Mag, if it won't go to Texas, send it here to Central PA, but don't send it too far north of us, or Bob_VT and the other northerners will be upset, I believe.<br /><br />Isn't it a shame you just can't please anyone!

Rain! NO THANKS! Just got over a few days storm, ended Fri, 10". My 8' footings are full, the area I need 2 loads of gravel is so wet they will sink to the axles.<br /><br />I need to get my basement walls up next week and the week after the main floor -- you can have ALL the rain for the next 3 month. By then we could be faceing the hard (white) rain again.

We forced an outing today. Had about 1.5 hrs on the water before we had to pull out.<br /><br />I knew the rain was coming but I told wife I was going come hell or high water.<br /><br />Good thing was that the rain cleaned the boat off in the driveway.<br /><br />What really ticked me off was I was supposed to go last Saturday, but the wife changed that. It was perfect weather all day. <br /><br />Ken

My wife hasn't had to mow the yard since the first part of May. I can't remember the last time it rained here, all my grass is brown.

It's a miracle! We're going to have sunny periods today and the marine forecast is for moderate south-westerlies (which aren't too bad here).<br />QC may be right, maybe it is global warming or at the very least, increasingly lousy annual weather patterns. It seems to get a little worse every year. When I was a kid, the weather was better. Either that or I'm a crabby old fart now with nothing better to whine about

Success!<br />We had a fabulous day! The weather held and it ended up nice and hot later in the day. The wind never really happened and the water was like glass from 3 pm on. My boy and I had some good quality time and the boat ran perfectly. It was great.<br />If every day could be so good...
