making more horse power!

i read on the forum that my 95 force 9.9 was the same size as the 15 horse force...except for the carb was diffrent.is this true and if so what do i have to do to make the change to get a little more horse power out of my 9.9!also what are the costs to make the switch?is it worth spending money or could i buy a new motor for the same price?

This subject has been up over and over again.<br /><br />It usually ends with a 'if you want more power, buy a bigger motor' conclusion.<br /><br />More than often are the things involved much more than just a bolt-on spare and many of those who try ends up whishing they'd spend the money on another motor.<br /><br />Just my 2 cents...
