Hi my name is carlos and last year i got my boat, i was realy exited wen i got and no experience on boats, so i didnt check a few thins on the boat the day i pick it up, i got it from ebay.
We use it a few times last season with no problems, but now i saw i couple videos en youtube and i register in a few forums and i start looking in those little thins i didnt check that day, well what can i said the center console is not too bad, but need some tlc, the gas tank is in unknown conditions so im using 2 12gallon tank on deck (that takes a lot of room) the deck is soft and i just removed some to see the bilge and is not too prety, so now i have to replace the whole deck and retouch the center console, i dont know in what conditions is the transom but is a 38 years old boat, so i dont know maybe need to be replace also.
I will update some pictures soon.

Hi frisco one of the chanels I'm subscribe in YouTube is yours and I'm a big fan of the work you doing, yesterday I start getting some parts out of the boat and they don't look in good shape, I never own a boat befor and I never worked whith gelcoat or fiberglas so my experience is cero, but I'm very handy and I'm pretty sure I'll be able to do it..
I'm in NJ so I think the temperature now here is too low to work with the gelcoat or Fiberglas what I can start doing is remove all the material in the boat that is soft.
Frisco thanks for the help in advance.

Re: Mako 1973 19' restoration

well today was nice outside so i jump in the mako and we have some progress .
center console is out
i remove the part of the floor on top the gas tank
gas tank is out and most of the foam around the tank also.
it was not too bad, i think the worst part on todays challenge was the smel, nasty mix of gas and sewer, the rest was not easy but not hard either. here some pics
