manifold pressure sensor

Hi,
Mercury 115hp 2008 efi fourstroke.

recently had issues with the Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor....whilst removing i broke off the nipple that engages with the inlet air manifold (rookie error) which has fallen inside....my question is would i have to get this small piece of plastic out or would it be ok to leave inside the inlet manifold.

Has to come out or motor will eat it....

Ok thanks, is it a big job to get the air inlet manifold off? do i have to remove injector rail etc
