manual info -evinrude

I am looking to buy a manual for my 84 evinrude 70hp motor. I have been reading many posts, and am looking the the most comprehensive manual possible. Am having some carb/linkage problems and want to make sure that the manual i buy will have diagrams. seen a few posts where some manuals do not have these diagrams. <br /><br />My engine is idles intermittently about 1200 rpm, and i have to remove the engine cover and manually move the linkage to get it back to normal idle. this happens sometimes at start up (with engine warm, already been running that day), and when it comes down from WOT. other than idling, the engine runs perfect. <br /><br />Any help with either topic is greatly appreciated.

The most comprehensive manual you will find is an original factory shop manual for that motor. Otherwise you will have to settle for the seloc, or clymer. Both have wiring diagrams. You can get them at the bottom of this page.
