Okay, guys, newbie here so forgive the naivete of the following question.
Picked up a 1979 9.9HP Johnson long shaft for my new (old) fishing boat (a late 60s Starcraft). It's a manual trim motor, and my question is this: can I change the trim setting while the boat is in motion? Seems a hard proposition given the pin/hole system used for the trim. If not, I assume you basically just choose the trim position you think fits your needs best and go from there? Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
