Hi everyone.

First off, thanks for all the info so far on this forum... fantastic find!

I have a 62 Evinrude Lark IV (Manual shift) which I would be curious to know if is possible (or if there's such thing as a conversion kit) to add power tilt to this. like most things made in those days, it's solid and a heavy unit to be lifting up and down. Besides, a little awkward to lock in while in the boat (if I'm right).

Any thoughts, ideas or am I out to lunch on this one?

Thanks again!

They do make an after market TT called a CMC, I have one on my boat and love it, has worked flawlessly for 7 years now.

They have them here at the iboats store and the price they have is the best you will find.

Thanks! These look interesting - but a lot more money than I was hoping to spend on something like this... Maybe I will need to reconsider.:(

Maybe I can luck out and find one used? or even a newer motor for almost same money?

If not wanting to spend $600 on the CMC, keep an eye on ebay. They come and go on there. Most still sell for around $400 though for a good working unit. I just bought a new one on there (2 days ago) myself, to avoid any problems a previous owner may have inflicted on the unit.
