Sheesh! Must be an outboard-er :)

Too early for me to de-winterize. Besides, I have a ton of work to do before she goes in. I need about 4 weekends of nice weather. Looks like the one coming up will be good.

Sorry, I beat you to it! I was out in our clubs work boat last Friday (MArch 12th). To bad it was not a plesure ride, we started putting our docks in. We were supposed to do more over last weekend, but Mother Nature had different plans. The good news is we are going to do more this weekend!!!

My boat is scheduled to launch at 8:0am April 1st.

This weekend is gonna be BEAUTIFUL here in NE Ohio, but the weather is gonna get cold again early next week. Like previously said, I've got some work left to do on her before she sees water - which I hope to get done this weekend.

Also, I hope that my Eagle 640c Sonar/GPS combo arrives this weekend.. :( The thing's been on backorder for over a month. Sheesh.

technically i could have put my boat in my town slip as of march 15th. i have yet to de-winterize though. i plan on removing the tarp this weekend and tossing it over the whole in my roof i got from the storm. :( as i wait patiently for my bogged down insurance company to get to my claim and cut me a check so i can put a roof on my house, i guess i'll start getting her ready.

I'm really wanting to get it out this weekend. They're saying almost 70 on Saturday, but a chance of snow Saturday after midnight! How does that happen? I guess I'll just wait.

not me. weather forecast at this point is 1-3'' of snow on fri. :( + overnight lows are still mostly below freezing... last year i got out 1st week in april. got one or two days of boating in then a month long cold snap... :( i'd have felt better if i'd have still been winterized over that month instead of just the water drained out of it..

since i'm still feeling poor, think i'll take my time this year in getting out. though i must say the urge to get out is getting pretty strong and i did take the cover off yesterday to 'just have a look' to see if anything just jumped out at me that was amiss. nothing did really which is good...

hope all ya fair weather folks are enjoying the start of the new season..

Will be out this Friday and Saturday for the 1st time also here in Northern Alabama where is should be in the 70's... We have had a weird and very cold winter down here but it is starting to warm up a little bit... Later today they are forecasting the sun to some out for the 1st time since last Friday, which has been very annoying..... Gah I hate clouds...

Ouch! I'm on the South Shore, too (West Babylon) but didn't personally get hit that hard. The framework holding up my tarps collapsed but I fixed that next morning. My old TV antenna came down, but I've been trying to figure a way to take it down anyway :)

For those that don't know, last Saturday LI (particularly south shore) had ALL DAY torrential rain and sustained winds of 35+ with gusts clocked as high as 70 mph. Bunch of marina boats on stands were blown over.

Already scoping out the rules in the upper niagara river for bass. It's catch and release till late may but we can get out. It's sunny and 65 today. I already called the shop to get the boat out.
