Marine 20hp outboard... No start with key

Hi friends

Quick question. My mariner 20hp. This year i replaced triger and stator. Everything is ok but after 2 or 3 days when i start my motor, every time it doesnt start i have to use wheel and pull string few time and then when i start with key, its start. Can any body help me why its doing it.

If it starts cold with the rope probably the starter is not turning the flywheel fast enough. Weak battery or starter. Loose or dirty connections . Once the motor warms up it doesn't take much to get it restarted .

start with cleaning the connections between the battery and the starter, including the starter ground.

What is your start procedure step by step?

1. After a week whwn i take boat on the lake. And put the key doesnt do anything at all. Than i have to pull the rope 2 to 3 time. Some time motor start with pulling the rope or some time whwn i put fast idle and start with key its start. And after when i drive few min. Then no issue.

Secondly notice my speed come about 11 to 13hrz and i have 20hp motor.
Any suggestion?
