Lowes and Home Depot sell marine carpet - but they have to special order it. You can find the same carpet (I mean literally the same product) online for less at:

www.boatcarpetbuys.com

I priced it out at Lowes and Home Depot but bought it online for about 2/3rds of their cost including shipping. Lowes and Home Depot could have it delivered to the local store (not my home) in ten days whereas I had it delivered to my door in three from this online source.

I checked ebay and other online retailers but no one can touch their price.

Re: marine carpet

My Lowes carries it in stock...the exact same carpet I special ordered 10 years before for another boat but at a fraction of the price.

Re: marine carpet

I also bought my marine carpet at Lowes. The local store stocked the the color I needed and several other colors and styles. No special ordering was needed, and I think the price I paid was very reasonable. I am very happy with the carpet, but now that I have the carpet installed I wish I would have looked into a non-skid alternative. No complaints about the carpet itself, but I now believe carpet does not belong in boats.
