marine horn

Can anyone tell me where to fit my marine horn in my boat.Although it is a marine horn it says to avoid water splashes.Ihave a 16 ft boat with a small cuddy cabin.Thanks in advance.

I don't know exactly i mean there is no such name on the box apart it says marine horn.It sounds exactly as a car horn and has a full splash plastic cover.The only problem is that it has some openings underneat the plastic cover were water might enter inside.Thanks again.

A lot of times they mount them on the inside of the dashboard and put a grating to the outside of the dash near them. This keeps them out of the weather, and alows some sound to come thru.

You could mount it on the inside wall of the cuddy, facing in, and put the grate there.

thanks a lot guys i apriciate your help i just installed it as you said inside the cabin.I stood outside the boat and tested it and the sound is pretty loud even inside the cabin thanks again.
