The price difference is a non argument, the regular is half the price of the marine version, but the marine version treats more than double the ammount of fuel with the same quantity.

after checking on their website, a 32once bottle of marine will treat 320gallons, while the regular version will only treat 80gallons, so you get 4 times more! it's actually cheaper to buy the marine version!

Actually the link you provided is comparing an 8oz bottle of Marine Stabil against a 32oz bottle of Marine Stabil. The 32oz bottle is four times the size of the 8oz bottle so it should treat four times as many gallons. One could hope that there is a per oz price break when buying the larger bottle.

i first started useing reg stabil in my lawn mower. gas that i leave in the can i guess was loseing its potentcey, but the reg stable works fine if mixed correctly. i use it in my boat all the time. as for the marine stabil, from what i read up on it, the ethanol they put in the gas now breaks down faster, allowing boats (because of vented fuel tanks) to absorb moisture. but as soon as i made the switch to my boat, i lost my hi end power. can't say for sure its because of that, but it is the only thing i did different on my boat. save your money and use fresh fuel.

after reading up on the ethanol gas, it says that it breaks down faster and actually separates from the gas, allowing it to absorb moisture since boats have vented fuel tanks. i made the switch and now i'm haveing problems getting my rpms up. checked some of the other posts and i have the same symptoms they do. i wrote them and so far 2 have said they just switched to the marine grade stabil. i'm waiting for more to respond.
