Re: marine stove troubleshooting
So here I am with issue number 2. I have a sea ray 250 1990. The alcohol stove on board is not working. The knobs to turn alcohol section on simply don't turn and the electric end jusat doesn't turn on. Ill be taking it out this weekend to work on it. Any ideas thanks.
Well, it looks like you have two different problems. When did this happen and was it all of a sudden or gradual?
It would help if you would post the make and model of the stove and whether it's a pressurized or non pressurized (alcohol section) stove. The manual for the stove should explain how it's supposed to work. If you've lost it, the manufacturer may have it for download on their website.
As far as the electric part, you do know it only works on 120 volt AC shore power, not on battery power, right?
